The girl turning twenty,

(This is my 401th post, and here goes.)

In less than 12 hours, a girl is going to turn twenty. When the clock strikes 12 am, the train ferrying teenagers through their life is going to drop her off at another terminal. Continue ferrying her to another journey of her life. Though this is not the big "21st' yet, it is still something to her, to her family.

The girl turning twenty, has a family behind her all the time with regard to what she has done. Be it throwing tantrums, be it her down periods, or even her tempers. They tolerated it till the end. They might not know it, but she is really thankful for their presence. Without her, she won't be where she is now. Thank you so so much.

The girl turning twenty, too has her bunch of favourite girls. They were there when she was dumb, and here they stand again when she became wiser in terms of some matters. They taught her how to be a better friend, and how to curb her temper. They too helped her realize her talent when she thought nothing of it. Thank you girls so much.

The girl turning twenty, is really blissful. For she has her lifesaving team mates. The team mates who went through the phase of trainings to lifesavers. From competitions to medals. Though she had no part in the medals, though she drew apart from them for a period of time during her attachment, she is glad they are still pretty much the same. Thank you guys for being oh-so-funny, thank you.

The girl turning twenty, she still has her dreams unfulfilled. That one very important dream, a dream she had been wishing when she blew her birthday cake every year. The one dream that hadn't come true yet. But she won't be doing so this year. 'Cause she had been doing so for years. She's tired. However, she is still hoping that it won't be too late when it happened. And she'll continue waiting, continue to prepare for it. Hoping it would come true soon enough.
