Day 4, 23rd April 2009
Sea expedition! Yay! The day I've been looking so forward to! Lol, 'cause I missed my previous sea expedition with my class for Water-Based. Paired up with Douglas for the double-men kayak, and he's a really good partner! Haha, he can really kayak man!
Because it was my first time experiencing the wind and currents, it's really quite and experience for me. My arms ache initially, but I hanged on 'cause it'd be unfair to Douglas. Lol, and with this hanging on, I find myself going on and on and on. Lol. COOL.
And god. The guys like to splash people water with their paddles! And Douglas seems to be one of the highly target! Lol, so I'm kind of implicated though. But it's nice in a way! Not nice at first, but once you're wet already, it's actually very cooling to have water washed down your back and all. Lol.
It was all quite peaceful when suddenly we heard Sasi shouted something. Yes, that same Sasi who got his thrill-mix stolen by the monkeys. Lol.
He got poo in his kayak!
LOL! It's all so super funny! He said that he was kayaking, when he plunged his paddle into something soft. He didn't care, and plunge his paddle in from the other side. Then that something soft fell into his kayak. Something soft, and brown. And it stink. LOL! Then he realised that it was poo! Haha!
He had wanted to capsize, so that it would go away. But Mia, his partner in kayaking didn't want to.
"I don't care what you do, Sasi! Do anything you want to get that thing out, but I'm not going to capsize!"
Was what Mia said. LOL! It's all super hilarious!!
Beached up and had lunch after that. We even had a washing machine game! Haha! We had to pair up and stand in a row, transporting the person from one end to the other and of the person will fly! Haha! It's all super fun! And exciting too! LOL.
Was one of the few to kayak back, thanks to Sasi! Haha, this time round, we had the wind and currents against us! Mia and I almost couldn't hold out! But it was all worth it.
'Cause we get to wash ourselves in the quarry!! Though we got scared by Naga, who was the co-trainer tons of times. He even had Mia swearing if he scares us anymore, she'll make sure he'll have smaller eyes. Haha!!
Though we get to wash ourselves at the quarry, it's still wasn't as clean. Haha, but it was still better than nothing~ Haha.
Same old routine, dinner and sleep. Lol. But there's no rain or strong winds that night. Just ... warm.
But we had some love stories exchange! (: Initially it was between Lydia, Jazlyn and me. Then we had Suresh, Sandy, Douglas, Jina and Mia included respectively. Lol. It was all quite fun. (:
And it ended up that we didn't do our sentry duty. God. It was Amundsen girls' turn to do the duties that night. But the first pair of girls slept! And that led to the rest of us not waking up too! LOL!
And that marks the end of the fourth day. Next entry would marks the end of the camp. Lol.
