Well well well. I hadn't blogged in ages, had I? Laughs, but I'm not going to recap everything. 'Cause first, I think it would bore you guys to tears and second, I don't have photographic memory. (:

So I'm going just relate to what happened yesterday aiights? Yes, point forms again. (:

Sunday, 15th March 2009:

• Morning Coaching. Super glaring sun! And as per always, my skin's super dark when I came up to bathe.
• Headed down to Botak Jones for lunch with Brenda and Rachel. Well, I can only say its standard seem to slacken (is there such a word?). Not that nice.
• Bused back to Fariway for the Afternoon Coaching. It wasn't only until for a while that the lightnings and thunders began to occur.

Okay, I want to write this whole thing down. 'Cause it's scary! Okay, I'm not a really big fan of lightnings and thunders aiights. Yes I'm a big fan of the rain, but definitely not the lightnings and thunders. They scare me! Yes, I've read through the Twilight forum that some of the fanatics actually relate these thunders as vampires playing baseball. So I'm not that crazy aiights, 'cause I don't think that way. I just think that lightnings and thunders are scary.

But the storm yesterday was really scary! And the thunder's really really loud! It's just like ... well, like in the Twilight movie when they played the baseball. Only it's much much louder. You can imagine that can't you? Inside the theatres, it's already so loud! Plus a few times louder. I was practically covering my ears all the time... And the lightnings! Ohmygosh, its frequency kept increasing and increasing!

Then finally, it struck a tree. Well, I didn't witness it struck but Brenda did. And trust her not to tell me... LOL. But I saw the after-effect. The fallen tree was there lying in the middle of the road. This tree splited and has to crowns connected to one trunk, so one fell, and the other was there, well. Looking kind of lonely. Okay.

Then Bus No.154 was stuck there for like ages! Bus 154's frequency's already not that frequent, adding on to the point that the bus got stuck there? Well, I can only say that the passengers and bus-stops after that had a really long time to wait.

So the rain got so heavy that Brenda, Wei De and I ducked into the gym. Haha. So first hour got cancelled. But not the second hour.

Hmm, second hour of Zhi Wang's class: Teenagers > At the age where they think they're right, but not right exactly. You get what I mean.

(P.S. When I asked the rest(the coaches) who were ZW's students, all of them, namely, Brenda, Kah Han and Hui Hui said this, "Oh, they were all taller than you. (: And no! Not all of them are taller than me! Only some, some only. But I find it funny that the three of them actually said that at the same time. But not the exact words though, just the exact meaning. And I find that quite funny. Haha!)

And they got a really long long time to get prepared. They appeared cool and all. Blahh. So I looked cool and didn't speak a thing. Speaking non-stop would work for the smaller swimmers, but not these teenagers.

But after some time, we seems to get along better. And they start to joke around with me. Haha, so all end good. :D

Met up with Eils to have dinner and headed back home. And god. I received the bomb from Singtel. My recent bill chalked up to $300+!

Fcuk! I didn't even know I'm using the GPRS! Crazy. Insane. Madness. Stupid Singtel. Don't you think they should actually let me know? Fcuk.

Now I have to pay that with my next pay-check. Darn! Hating Singtel to the core........................ I'm already super broke! F. F. F.

Sheesh.

Okay, so people actually had "Bella's Lullaby" mixed up with this song. But. Hmm. Please, the two songs sounded so different! Lol, but this song is really nice. Loads of images flooded my head whenever this song is being played.

Some things happened, lol as per always. Things ALWAYS happen, don't they? Haha. Okay, one major thing was that I actually dyed my hair. (:

Laughs, something I did with Eils last week. I was ... well, stunned by my outlook actually. 'Cause I wasn't expecting anything like that. But, I'm still alright with it though. Haha, I'm still waiting for it to grow longer! Lol.

And I've made this decision. Which I believe my parents would be glad, and of course. I'm glad too. Well maybe not that glad. But still relieved. Sigh, now the problem is how am I going to go about doing it. Sigh aye aye.

This song is great! (: Eils just recommend it to me just now. It's nice, and the lyrics are meaningful and funny. Haha. And I'm upset. ): I was whining to Eils just now, "Why do you recommend me such a nice song at a time when I can't sing now?! Rarr!"

Haha, love it totally. (: Hate it every time when I lost my voice. Can't sing! And it's super torturous, trust me.

Read it once in Seventeen, they mentioned T. Swift as every girl's best friend. And I totally agree. Well I mean, listen to her songs! They illustrated out every girls' feelings which all the other artistes fails to bring out.

The other female singers and all were singing about girls being together with their boyfriends, and the phase they're going through and all. But none really sang about girls who hadn't got the boys. Hello! We need songs like these! Okay, at least I do.

Then Eils introduced T. Swift's Teardrops on My Guitar in 2007. It's really my story she's singing. And from then on, I had always pay more attention to her. Laughs.

What stuns me more was that she's only nineteen! The same very age I am! And look at the accomplishment she had achieved and look at me again. Sigh aye aye. I was telling Dad one day when Taylor Swift was on the telly.

Here's how the conversation went:

M: Hey Daddy look! She's only nineteen, y'know! And look at all the accomplishments she had achieved. And I've acheived none. Sighs.

D: No, you didn't achieve nothing. You've achieve something, really.

M: Really? What is it?

D: Your tan-ness. (: Not every girl has it, y'know? (:

M: !!!

Laughs, it's quite funny now when I'm recalling it. Haha, but at that point of time, I'm really WOAH. Who needs being tanned as an achievement? I don't want it at all mann. Any other girl can have it. Laughs. And that is if they want it. Haha!

Laughs, I had some trouble searching for this song and it still tickles me upon recalling how I found it. Thanks to Eils Sis! Haha.

Went to Tze's place yesterday and brought along Remember Me? for her. Haha. And in return, she loaned me this book by Meg Cabot, Teen Idol.

It's a superb book. (: Humoured me enough for today. Haha. Meg Cabot's seriously good. Love the way she expresses the emotions, the feelings and all. I'm not good with words, but I seriously love it. Haha thanks Tze! Hope Sophie Kinsella hadn't disappoint you! (: Hope you enjoy reading Remember Me? aiights! Haha, and let me know. (:

Lose my voice, dang it! Got it worsen through today's coaching. Sigh. Will spend the whole week with people thinking I'm a "he" instead of a "she".

Went down to Beauty World yesterday with Eils. Was actually there to spring a surprise on Mom. 'Cause we knew she was there. Haha. And good! This trip fulfilled one that we've been postponing. Haha, we had always wanted to borrow, or rather buy some books there. Haha.

It's a lovely place, really. (: Not a lot of people... Quiet... (: Just the place I'd like if I'd want to read a book. Lovely. (:

So I settled on Sophie Kinsella's Remember Me? . It's such a nice book! I've always fought the temptation to buy it from Kinokuniya when I was there for the Twilight stuffs.

Read it on the train today when I'm off for my driving lessons. Saw a lady reading Breaking Dawn (!!!), and I fought against the urge to glance over to see what page she was at. So I took my own book (Remember Me?) out and read it. And oh boy! I can't put it down!

Just like what Eils had said, it's really a good book. (: S. Kinsella's a really great author. Haha, I'm glad to be reading books these days. Thanks to The Twilight Saga to unleash it for me. No, thanks to Stephanie Meyer. :D And definitely Eils and Tze who has been encouraging me to read too. Laughs.

Learnt about Parellel Parking today. And phew! I almost had a cramp in my left leg! Lol. I had wanted to switch legs sneakily 'cause of the cramp, I wasn't supposed to, but Uncle Gordon caught me doing it and made me free my gear instead. Haha. To rest my poor feet, he said! Haha.

Lessons ended and I carried on with my book. Continued reading it when I'm back home. And Sean really doesn't get off my back whenever I'm reading. Zzz. Haha, maybe because I'm the only one at home with him. If Eils's at home, I guess it would become another story totally. (Snickers)

Alright, so I'm now done reading it. I wanted to read the Gossip Girls series. Loo and Tze were obsessed with it totally! See! Even Loo's obsessed with it, so I guess it's a good book too. Haha!

Okay, I'm off to read New Moon again. (: Read the part where Edward left Bella, again. And dang it! I just can't control it. Blahh. Bye! :D

Making a difference.

Hmm, my mind has been working recently. Back to those times when I would think a lot, I mean. But it's not about my personal stuffs. It's about some other people's stuff actually, which linked to a bigger picture in my mind.

Well, what is love actually? Is it something you'll feel happy when you had it in possession? Even if it belonged to someone else's? Would you snatching it over makes you feel happy? Blissful? When you know someone else's grieving over it?

Not me definitely. I won't build my happiness on account of someone else's grieveness. I would definitely have this matter work out beautifully if I can.

But not this person I know. He... Alright. He did things on purpose aiights. On his own accord, the girl wasn't even interested in him in the first place. He knew that she's taken, and what about it? I guess the so-what-if-she's-taken-they-can-always-break rule apply to him definitely.

I thought he was someone different. I thought the first impression I had of him was wrong. And I tried to uncover some of his plus points to prove to myself that he wasn't that bad of a person. It worked most of the times, 'cause first impression although counts, may be altered as time goes by. Of course, I did find some plus points this person has.

However... It didn't last me long enough to see it through that he is a good person actually. Maybe because he wasn't even one in the first place. A good person, I mean.

Thus this incident taught me one thing: Believe in the first impression a person has left on you. It may be altered as time goes by through contacts and all. But don't bother finding plus points about the person for it won't last if he or she wasn't even such a person in the first place.

I'm worn out! Seriously worn out! All thanks to Sports Climbing Level 1, my hands muscles are aching now. Sheesh. And what a busy week I had this week! Totally different from how I spent it last week! Hah! Guess the way you plan would definitely affect the way things would turn out to be eh? Laughs.

So I'll break it down into bullet forms, once again. Haha! Here goes:

• Sunday > I got bullied by my kids. > My actual plan was to use the cone to spurt water out at them. > Instead, Edward pressed it down, on purpose despite my constant warnings on not touching the cone. > Well I think he did it on purpose. > Laughs, seeing how it would make me say, "No, no, no!" over and over again. > And alas! With my face just right there, with the cone pressed down, water spurted to my face. > Kids laughed like hell. ): > Went to Sharon Cousin's place for the CNY. > Bought new phone, which was supposed to be for Mom. But she didn't know how to use and so it's mine now! :D.
  

• Monday > Out for dinner with my family. > Went to Thomson Plaza. > Dad bought Mom a new phone. > As valentine, :D. > But also because her phone was faulty already. > Else I doubt she would even change her phone. Haha! > Teaching Mom to use phone.

• Tuesday > Have got driving early in the morning. > Not enough sleep. > Mind blank when driving. > Stepped on "accelerator" instead of "brake" when my instructor told me too. :P. > Went to Acer to check on Dad's laptop. > Bumped into Jin. (: > Things didn't work quite out for Dad's laptop repair. > Back home. > Bathed and changed. > Trained down to JP for Jie Ying's birthday surprise. > Attempt succeeded. > Tons of girls talk. > Carol's reaction was classic. > Note that it's not plural. > Meaning only ONE is classic. • Wednesday > Accompany Dad to the clinic for he's been sick for ages and not wanting to go to the doctor. > Back home to wake Eils up. > To go to IKEA (!!!). > Got our eyes eyed on one same bedframe (different colour for us if we have a chance to get it soon. (: ). > And on a lot of other stuffs for the revamping of our room. > Eils having a stupid idea. > That she would take Sean's previous room, break down the room between the room and study room (the one which I'm going to take) and then we would have a larger space. > Plus her being happy about the whole idea. > While I scoffed at it because: > First: I had wanted some private space on my own and thus want a room all to myself. If we were to break down the wall, won't that defeat the purpose? > Second: It would cost a bomb and another of Mom's fiery temper. Breaking down a wall? That would burst her vessel man. (She's already finding it hard to accept that I want to turn the study room to my own room. My mom, I mean. And she's trying to persuade me out of the idea. • Thursday > Kayak Pool Practice with the DOAL people. > Overslept + lazing in bed. > Late for the kayak. :P > But still had fun. :D. > Made to complete a race of 50m kayaking IN ONE STRAIGHT LINE. > I can't even do it for couple of weeks! > Stumbled tons of times and had to keep turning straight. > With addition of reverse kayak 50m. > And J- draw 25m. > Went to slack in the medium pool. > Taught some of my classmates strokes, to help prepare them better for their lifesaving course coming up next week. (: > Received tons of help from Addi. > Haha!! > He's still a super nice gentleman! :D.

• Friday aka Today > Overslept again for Sports Climbing Level 1. > Tham was the in-charge. > Still as witty! Haha! > Suffer from muscle aches due to the climbing on the boulders. > But had tons of fun! > Despite the fact that I'm perspiring like mad. > Learnt how to belay. > 'Cause I missed the first lesson of belaying. > And I realised that I prefer belaying to climbing. :x > Haha, 'cause belaying is really fun! :D. > When it's time for the assessment, I was so freaked out by Tham, Khai Munn and this other facilitator that I forgot how to tye my Figure-of 8 knot! But thank god I'm given another chance. (: > Belayed Hakim for the assessment. > Almost flew up when he fall (Tham asked him to), thanks to Sasi who's holding me down. > Haha, but it's fun!! Yay! I got my laptop back! Laughs, just received their message this morning and already it had me rushing down to Acer in JE to retrieve it back. (: I even gave my kayak pool practise a skip aiights! Look at how important this laptop is to me. Laughs.

I'm still trying to get back to get used to the keyboard of this laptop. Haha, mainly because I've got myself familiar to the tiny weeny keyboard of the previous laptop Acer had loaned me. Now I kept pressing on the wrong keys sometimes. It's really frustrating. Lol.

And I've changed the Quotes of The Day ♥ ! Haha, I will change it occasionally now and then. When I feel like it. (:

Thursday today, Friday tomorrow. Will have to offer offerings to Grandpa for it's ancestral day? Is it what they call it in English? I don't know, but it's roughly that meaning. After which, would be Saturday the next day, Daddy coming back home! :D And coaching.

Laughs, I've never looked forward to coaching like I did these days. Guess I'm really bored stiff. Haha.

Chanced upon the Chinese Version of New Moon today in Popular. Flipped to one of the pages and I tried to read it. Ohmygod, I can't stand it man! The words are all so small and unpleasant to eyes! Alright, at least to my eyes. But the chinese is good, it's really good. It's just that I can't feel the feelings it brought out from Edward to Bella or Bella to Edward like how the English Version did. Haha! Thank god I'm better in English as compared to my Chinese in terms of reading stuffs. :D

I'm super bored now! Ohmygod! My holidays had just begun like, a week ago? And I've got nothing to do already. ): Mostly because I had not been planning on what to do for my holidays I guess. Good for Qi Xuan, who would be flying off to Taiwan later in the day I guess. Lucky him! I wanted to go to Taiwan! Urghhs!

Hmm, what plans do I have for tomorrow? I don't know. Sigh aye aye, if not for my driving schedules, I would definitely go look for a job. Sulks. Had driving today, so it's still not that bored a day for me today. (:

So I've started re-reading Twilight yesterday. Haha! 'Cause I was so bored yesterday night after bathing. I took a super long time to bath last night aiights. Shampooed my hair like it's some gentle royal, scrubbed my body like it's some kind of dirty little thing that needs a lot of scrubbing. But alas! Not too much of a time to waste!

So I got out Twilight and re-read it. Haha, that feeling is familiar. Haha, this time round as I read, I'll note down some of the quotes I like. So I can put it down in my diary, and in the notebook Tze had given me last Christmas. :D

"Can't you just thank me and get over it?"
"Thank you." I waited, fuming and expectant.

"In that case... I hope you enjoy disappointment."

Haha, familiar?! Heh. This is the first one I've noted down. (: Guess that would be what I'll be doing these few days as I juggled my time between driving and those activities I've signed up for the preparation of my attachment.
